If you won the lottery and never had to work again, how would you spend your time?
My favorite place to be is the beach, so I’d probably spend all my time there.
If you could start any new club or organization on campus, what would it be and why?
I would definitely start a wine tasting club. I love wine, and that’d be a pretty convenient way to try out new kinds.
What on-campus (including the strip) cuisine is your absolute favorite?
Way too difficult to choose between Chipotle and Bento.
What is your secret addiction?
My secret addiction is definitely Swedish Fish. It’s a pretty random thing to crave, but they are my go-to when I want something sweet.
What is the best learning experience you have had in college, in or outside of the classroom?
I really can’t think of a class within this college that I haven’t enjoyed, but the best learning experience I’ve had is Capstone Agency. It’s one thing to learn about PR, writing, leadership, etc. in the classroom, but actually applying those skills and working with real-world clients is completely different. Not many people can go into a job interview and say they gained that type of experience as an undergraduate.
What inspired you to choose PR as your major?
The main reason I chose PR was because of how broad it is. With a degree in public relations, you aren’t limiting yourself to one type of job; there are tons of opportunities. I also enjoy writing, and I’ve grown to enjoy graphic design work too.
What would be your dream job after graduation?
My dream job is to do PR for a record label in Nashville. I’m passionate about music, especially country music, so I would love to go into that industry.
