If you won the lottery and never had to work again, how would you spend your time?
On an international tour of all the different places ranked for having the best corndogs. Just kidding. I would probably travel as much as possible to all the most beautiful tropical locations and buy a different Triangl brand bathing suit for each, because there’s no way I can afford one without winning the lottery.
If you could start any new club or organization on campus, what would it be and why?
Can I implement corndogs in the answer, too? Corndog Club? …No?
What on-campus (including the strip) cuisine is your absolute favorite?
Hands-down, Auntie Ann’s in the Ferg. I’ve only actually eaten there a few times, since I don’t want my large T-shirt to fit snugly, but the smell alone gets me every time. Realistically, though, $200 of my $300 Dining Dollars usually go to Starbucks.
Who is your spirit animal?
My spirit animal is Blair Waldorf because I love that she values being a powerful woman (and her wardrobe is unbelievable).
What has been your best learning experience in college, either in or out of the classroom?
I think the most valuable lesson I've learned while in college is how to manage high-stress circumstances while maintaining a calm, pleasant decorum. It's so important to realize that, in life, there will always be something else that needs to be done—whether it's a press release or taking out the trash, the work is relatively endless. Once you realize that, it's much easier to take things in stride and maintain a positive attitude.
What inspired you to choose PR as your major?
No joke, my mom randomly suggested it (because I love to write, am very organized and enjoy strategic planning and story-telling), and I blindly committed to it—I’ve never looked back since!
What would be your dream job after graduation?
That’s a tough one—I think it’s hard to say what your ‘dream’ job would be, because you never know how you’ll actually feel about it! The grass isn’t always greener, you know? But I guess my dream job would be something that allows me to write frequently, interact with interesting people, travel and be flexible enough to allow me to have a family.
